Research into Practice is a 6-session drop-in live on-line group you can join from anywhere! It occurs on a Wednesday evening approximately once a month. One week prior to the meeting you will be sent a play therapy research paper or a book chapter to read. Dr. Lorri Yasenik will facilitate a group discussion where everyone can weigh in and discuss the applications to daily practice. 1.25 Hr Continuing Education Sessions, 1.5hr CE Non-Contact (2.75 CE hrs total)

Objectives
- Discuss ways of including Animals in your play therapy practice
- Describe at least one approach when including families in Play Therapy.
- List critical factors to consider when working with children diagnosed with ASD in play therapy
- List 3 key considerations when working with children of separation and divorce
- Describe areas of concern and/or focus when working with children referred for grief and loss in play therapy
Cost: $90 CAD+GST/ session or join all 6 sessions for the cost of 5 ($450 CAD plus GST)
