Cancellation Policy
A full refund less 15% is available 45 days prior to a course, conference or workshop. No refunds are available less than 45 days before a course, conference or workshop for any reason. RMPTI reserves the right to cancel a course, conference or workshop at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, an attempt will be made to notify registrants via e-mail as well as by posting a cancellation notice on the RMPTI website, at least two weeks prior to the scheduled start date. The full registration fee will be returned. In all instances, RMPTI’s liability is limited to a refund of registration fee only.

At RMPTI, assignments are not simply about producing a piece of written work. They are part of the learning process. We want you to have the opportunity to think about the ideas in the course, make sense of them, connect them with your own experience, and consider how they may influence your work with children and families.
Generative AI (GenAI) can be useful in that process. It can help you explore an idea, ask a different question, organise your thoughts, or get feedback on your writing. We are not asking students to avoid GenAI. We are asking you to use it in a way that keeps you at the centre of your own learning.
The important question for us is not simply, “Did you use AI?” It is, “Can we still see you in the work?”

Request for Change of Program
No change request shall be approved within 45 days of the first day of the training program in which you are enrolled. If a 45-day notice for change request is provided to admin@rmpti.com the student may apply their deposit/training fee towards the following offering of the same program within a 12-month period (ie. Green Stream to Green Stream, etc.). Potential program fee changes shall apply. Otherwise, the cancellation policy shall apply.
Request for Change to Unbundle
If your program has been paid using the Bundle option, the Bundle discount will no longer apply. A revised invoice will be provided and the full fee for each program included in the bundle shall apply plus a 15% administration fee.
Extension for Submission of Assignment
You are provided three months beginning on the last day of the Green or Red Stream program or one month beginning on the last day of the Supervision program for submission of the written assignment without penalty. In order to submit a late assignment there is a $100.00 fee and withinn thirty days upon RMPTI’s receipt of payment, you will be able to submit the assignment for review and subsequent provision of a Certificate of Completion.
Missed Time Policy for Approved Provider Courses
RMPTI is an approved training provider for CAPT, APT, and BCPTA and is responsible for ensuring that participants attend course training hours. Any missed time during a training program must first be communicated to the Director of RMPTI. If a participant misses between 1.5- and 3 hours, a make-up assignment will be prepared based on the material missed. There is a $150.00 fee for each make-up assignment which covers the cost of creating and reading the extra assignment and the administration time to track and modify the recording of training hours. If a student misses one full day, the day must be taken (on-line) at the next scheduled training program.
